In my mind, a good work of art is at its very core a story, and like any good story, it revolves around its characters. I have made art this way for all my life, from drawing epic battles on scratch paper as a child to creating animations as an adult. Every model I have rendered, every figure I have drawn, every doodle I have scribbled is given a story and a life. In some works, I have become the character, an artist who works to finish his latest piece, making the work more about creating it more than any theme or meaning.
